Hi! My name's Nicole, I'm 18 and I'm a first year medical student at Newcastle University.
My stats are:
8A*s, 5As at GCSE
AAAA at AS, in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and French
A*A*A* at A2 in Biology, Chemistry and Maths (idk how)
817.5 in my UKCAT
1 week work experience with disabled children in Lourdes, 1 week work experience at a school for disabled children, a few months volunteering at a children's hospice, 1 day in a hospital on the gastroenterology ward.
I can play the guitar and piano, and I'm obsessed with Taylor Swift and Les Mis. Watching YouTube videos is my favourite form of procrastination.
I really hope that this blog can help any of you that are hoping to apply to medicine, just to give you some tips for interviews and the whole application process. If you have ANY questions please please comment on any of my posts and I'll try to answer them as best I can.
